अच्छा सिनेमा, सार्थक सिनेमा

The Amber International Film Festival is a space for honest storytelling from across the globe. We believe cinema should not be confined by limits. It is built on creative freedom where every voice, every perspective and every form of expression is welcomed.
This did not start as a festival. It was just a few of us looking for a space where films could exist without cuts, without filters. What began as a small initiative became a community of filmmakers, dreamers and misfits connected by a love for cinema. It was never about perfection. It was always about perspective.
AIFF was created to connect, not to compete. In an industry driven by scale and perfection, we stand for something quieter: authenticity. Because at its heart, AIFF is not just about films. It is about building a culture where storytelling feels free, inclusive and truly human.
A decade of cinema, conversations, and community in Jaipur.

Fiction or non-fiction, Indian or international — features that deserve a proper theatrical audience.
30 — 45 minutes
Stories that need room to breathe but don’t stretch into features. A track for the in-between film.
Up to 30 minutes
Proof that you don’t need runtime to leave a mark. The most democratic format in cinema.
More than 45 minutes
Deep dives into real worlds. Films that take the time a subject deserves.
Up to 45 minutes
Real people, real situations. Films that report the world without filters — compressed to the essential.
Indian animation still doesn’t get enough stages. This is one of them — any length, any technique.
Once a month, we pick one film worth watching and screen it for anyone who wants to show up. No big setup, no red carpet. Just good cinema in good company.
We invite the people who made the film and try to understand the journey behind it. With every screening, we are building a community in Rajasthan of people who want to either make or watch good cinema.
What started as the Jaipur Sunday Show has now found its proper home under the AIFF umbrella. The spirit stays the same. A room, a screen, a film that deserves more eyeballs than it got.
AIFF accepts submissions from filmmakers anywhere in the world. We accept all languages — subtitles or dubbing in English required for non-English films. One filmmaker can submit multiple films.
Submissions open on FilmFreeway. No film is too small. No story is too local.
Submissions are managed through FilmFreeway — trusted by film festivals worldwide.
